A Night’s Welcome

2023 – 2024 Winter Shelter

Dates and locations of A Night’s Welcome winter shelter will be posted here this fall.

The shelter is open nightly from 6 PM – 7 AM. Guests may arrive between 6 PM – 9 PM; dinner is served at 6:30 PM. A to-go style breakfast will be provided each morning.

It takes many hands working together to provide shelter and meals for our guests all winter. If you’re able to help, please contact us HERE.

For the coldest weeks of the year, HELP coordinates with over 30 area churches to provide a place that is safe and warm. “A Night’s Welcome” is a nightly shelter, but its location changes throughout the season as area churches open their doors to those in need. With the help of many volunteers and organizations, two hot meals, toiletries, and community are provided for individuals and families that find themselves on the street each winter.

Every year, HELP provides over 6,600 bed nights of shelter for over 340 individuals, supported by nearly 17,000 hours of volunteer service from our community.

Here’s how you can help:

We are always in need of groups to prepare and serve meals for our guests. Some nights we feed as many as 100 people. Gather your group to prepare dinner or breakfast.

For congregations, civic groups, or families who want to provide meals on a monthly schedule, please use the button below to pick a recurring meal schedule:
